It may only be March, but we’ve already made two trips to Beale Park!! This year it opened in time for half term, so made full use of our Annual Passes.
Callum’s best friend was disappearing down-under on hols for three weeks as his uncle was getting married. So Janine could finish packing, I took Kian with us to Beale Park … in the 20 minute journey it takes to get there, he must have asked “Are we nearly there yet?” about 10 times – heaven help them on a 24+ hour flight to Sydney.
Work had been going on over the winter closure with new enclosures and a new Zip Wire added which Callum loved!
Best of all, the cafe is under new ownership and is so much better. OK, it’s still pretty expensive compared to food at Legoland etc, but at least it’s now edible!! Now, all they need to do is get a decent coffee machine and we’ll all be happy.
