Callum bless him, came running into our bedroom this morning shouting “Happy Farmers Day, Dad!” Try as he might, he could pronounce the “th” (Daddy’s Day is so much easier to say). Dad’s present was a DVD and a bungey-man bird seed feeder. Not expecting that to last long given how greedy the starlings are in our garden!
Dad is on holiday and has gone armed with a bottle of champagne which they can hopefully enjoy if the seas are calm! Ray got an old book on the Houlder Brother ships lost at sea. Ebay does come into it’s own looking for old, out-of-print Merchant Navy books for Ray!
